It holds something very special for me, the point where the roads stops, where the land ends and literally falls into the ocean. I could swear there is something magical at these places, like Skagen, the northern tip of Denmark or Land's End in Cornwall, England. Yesterday I went to the snow covered northern tip of Plum Island for a walk on the snow covered beach and sure enough, magic in the (very cold) air!
